On Saturday night the Phantoms came back from a 2-0 deficit against the Binghamton Devils late in the third. Colin MacDonald scored the first goal in the third period, followed by a goal from Phil Varone with 4.5 seconds left. Varone’s goal tied up the game and forced an overtime. The Phantoms ended up winning 3-2 thanks to Mike Vecchione’s game-winning OT goal. PPL Center will be packed again next weekend with a Friday night game aganist the Springfield Thunderbirds and a Saturday night show versus the Charlotte Checkers.
