Well, I tried to analyze whatever the hell you want to call that game. Although they seemed to be the better team, the Flyers found themselves down 3-1 after two periods. Following some questionable calls, the Lightning scored a pair of power-play goals in 11 seconds to go up 5-1 with only 10:52 left in regulation. With 3:32 left in regulation, it was a 5-5 game. Unfortunately, Anthony Cirelli won it in overtime, but it was an exciting, weird game nonetheless. I talked about:
- Whether we should be encouraged or discouraged about today’s game.
- The special teams.
- David Hakstol and his assistants.
- Ivan Provorov and still not looking right.
- The need to get more high-danger chances./
